Pawridge Mini Games
Two flash games for the Pawridge website.
Overview
I started work on this project near the end of it’s life cycle under a tight deadline and huge requirements. The site was due to launch in two weeks but due to a dispute with another agency, the five games needed to go on the website were never finished, leaving me and a few other developers to pick up the pieces and create the five games in the short amount of time.
I had been given two games to work on, Around the Ridge in 90 Seconds and The Great Grain Robbery. These were the most challenging games to program when compared with the others, to do these in two weeks was a huge job.Around the Ridge in 90 Seconds
The aim of this game is to reach the end of the level while dodging objects by changing lanes or jumping. Some objects can’t be jumped so they player must determine if they should try to jump or move out of the way.
The Great Grain Robbery
This game is a cross between Pac-Man and Metal Gear Solid. The player must navigate a maze to collect bags of grain while avoiding farmers that walk around the maze. The player can collect a leaf to hide under and provide cover when being chased by a farmer, think the box in MGS.
